Meet Dr. Kevin Holroyd
The Health to Pursue His Passions
My whole life changed as an child because of chiropractic. As an infant, I had Asthma and was having to take multiple medications daily. After a recommendation from a family friend, my parents sought a local Kelowna chiropractor for help.
After my first adjustment at eighteen months old, my breathing began to significantly improve. I continued on with regular adjustments and was able to wean off the Asthma medications. I grew up with the health benefits of regular chiropractic care and avoided the dangerous side effects of medications.
Continual Chiropractic Education
I completed my chiropractic pre-requisites at the University of Victoria. I continued my Doctorate of Chiropractic studies at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, graduating at the top of my class in 1996 with Cum Laude distinction.
Dr. Susan and I regularly attend advanced post-graduation courses to learn the latest research on strategies for nutrition, fitness, children’s health, maternity wellness, spinal correction and overall well-being to better serve our patients.
We host regular health and wellness seminars in the community to empower their patients with the knowledge, skills and action steps to enhance their lives.

Avoiding Surgery Through Chiropractic
When I was a teenager growing up in Vernon, it was discovered that I had advanced scoliosis, an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine. The medical solution was to surgically implant steel rods from the base of my neck all the way through to my tailbone.
Fortunately I discovered chiropractic and began getting regular adjustments which allowed me to avoid major surgery, be more comfortable, restore normal function and prevent the progression of this abnormal curve. I experienced the life changing benefits of chiropractic ever since I was a teenager.
My passion to help others avoid needless drugs and surgery lead me to become a chiropractor.” Dr. Susan

I’m thrilled to introduce myself as part of the Holroyd Chiropractic family. From the age of six, I’ve been a proud patient of Dr. Sue’s, and now I’m honored to be an integral part of this wonderful community. Born and raised in West Kelowna, this small yet vibrant town holds a special place in my heart. After earning my Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in History from the University of Alberta in 2022, I knew my journey would lead me back home. As an enthusiastic member of the Kelowna Actors Studio, my love for theatre runs deep alongside my passion for people and wellness. Joining the Holroyd team feels like coming home, and I’m dedicated to fostering a warm, familial atmosphere where healing and growth thrive. Let’s embark on this journey together!

Licensed Practical Nurse
I’m delighted to have joined the Holroyd Family Chiropractic team. Originally from Washington State, I earned my LPN certification from Skagit Valley College in Whidbey Island back in 2017. My husband and I made the exciting move to the Okanagan in 2021, and we’ve been soaking up the beauty ever since! At Holroyd Family Chiropractic, I’ve had the pleasure of completing the Class 4 Summus Laser certification course and training, which allows me to assist our patients in their healing journey. I find it incredibly rewarding to use laser therapy to help speed up recovery in a pain-free, comfortable manner. When I’m not at the clinic, you can often find me tickling the ivories or singing in my church choir. Looking forward to continuing to serve our wonderful community here at HFC!
